Toner is Low Message
Step 1
 Understanding Toner low messages
Solution: Replace the Print Cartridge

Note    Note: If the printer is currently displaying a Toner Low Message, shaking the toner cartridge and re-installing it back in the printer will not remove the Toner Low message or extend the toner cartridge life.

  1. Open the top cover.

    2. open top cover

  2. Grasp the handle on the print cartridge and gently slide it forward and upward out of the printer.

    3. remove cartridge

  3. Place the used print cartridge in a plastic bag and discard it. For information on recycling the print cartridge, please refer to the recycling program.

    4. old toner

        Caution: Do not use sharp objects to open the packaging of the print cartridge. Sharp objects could damage the cartridge

  4. Open the plastic pouch that the new print cartridge is in.

    5. open toner package

  5. Remove and discard the shipping restraint from the cartridge.

    6. remove shipping restraint

  6. Shake the cartridge up and down four times to distribute the toner evenly.

    7. Shake toner

  7. Gently slide the toner cartridge down and back into the printer.

    8. install toner

  8. Close the top cover.

    9. close top cover
